I gotta be frank here, im not a great fan of x-men.

But i gotta thank Fong for the tix, coz i noe im in for a real treat.

I have NEVER watched any x-men movie in my entire life prior to this, BUT i will monitor them closely now.

Wolverine is a must see movie. The effects and storyline are great.

The visual and make-up? BAGUS!

Wolverine?? He is DA MAN!

How can anyone's body turn out that way?

He is impossible, i have never seen such a fit body in my whole entire life.

Well, u do see some at California fitness, but those are too extreme and they really just turn you off..

Wolverine's is the perfect size. His muscles and pacs are to die for and but they are not overwhelming that it turns you off.

Can anyone beat that? I think Brad Pitt pales in comparison.

it just pains my heart to see a close fren of mine missing his beloved wife who passed away a month ago.

i noe that when he is with us, he is just trying to be normal, and joke with us,

but deep down, i noe that he is not feeling very well.

all the laughter is just to conceal his unhapiness.

in the middle of the nite, he will stil feel lonely,

i just feel so sad for him..

hearing the things he told me about his wife makes me want to cry..

Talk about appreciating the little things in life.

I am really feeling blessed.

My hairdresser, a very nice lady, actually bought me a keychain from Paris,

and frankly speaking, she really don't need to go that extra mile, because in the first place,

i don't even know that she went to Paris, and second, i am just a customer.

But the action and the thought that she remembers me even though she is far away in Paris warms my heart.

Calvin, (PA to the Chairman of the Shipping company that i was supposed to work for, but in the end decided to give up and go with my dream), actually messaged me personally to show me his concerns about my future, asked me not to feel bad about rejecting the offer and told me to pursue my dreams!

yes, i noe im abit unhip at this,

but i've not always been an IT savvy person.

and yeah, i've just installed WIRLESS network connection in my house.

Im happy partly bcoz of the wirelss connection,

and also i did it all by myself.

Im proud to say that,

bcoz alot of hurdles did occur,

including connecting the wrong wires,

no help from MAC,

Went for an interview today at Meridien Holdings.

It is a shipping company.

I was quite impressed at the company as in its very nicely decorated, and i must say i do feel very comfortable throughout the whole interview.

The lady which im sad to say i din catch her name was uber nice.

I appreciate her openness in sharing with me the company's culture and stuff.

She did not paint a very good pic of the co which i like,

coz nothing is perfect.

She was very realistic, in filling me with all the details.

And that, i really appreciate.

Well, for my job hunting,

i have sent in AT LEAST 100 over applications.

And till now, only a pathetic 3 or 4 companies replied.

Is my resume really so lousy?

Im not applying for those managerial positions.

But anyway, just when i wasnt expecting too much from today's interview,

it went very well i must say.

The way the lady spoke to me was like she was really gg to recruit me.

And she did say that she quite like me.

and if there are no more outstanding candidates,

well than perhaps i might land the job.

and if i really do, gawd i never expect myself to be in a shipping co.

but well, the job description is quite alrite,

i wanna learn as many things as i can.

And i guess, comfortableness is there.

Have listed down a few resolutions and as usual, my "wants" and i hope to achieve it.

Most importantly, to be more careful with my cash flow.

I realize i spend alot on unnecessary stuffs and i should learn to cut that down as well as manage temptations.

I am no longer a student,

moving on to a working adult, and its time to provide for this family.

Hence, all the responsibilities are coming on me now.

One of my resolution will be to bring my parents for a overseas trip.

I have in mind to either bring them to Japan or Korea or even some western countries, depending on which i can afford.

Hopefully i can be able to achieve this.

i passed my exams~~!!!

im so excited about this..

and drama mama actually visited me on the day when my results were released.

our results were supposed to be released at 5pm,

but at around 11am, ella msged me to say that results are out and that she failed MC.

damn, when i checked mine, i failed that same particular subject too.

i almost burst into tears~!

i called SIM to check, and they said that the results were moderated and any changes that shld be made were already made.

so its simply implying to me that i failed!

but all is not gone.

half an hour later, ella called me and asked me to check my results again,

cause from a fail, she got credit!

and i checked mine too..

from a fail, i got a distinction!

like, what is wrong??

so i called SIM to ask whats happening,

and apparently there's some adjustments to our marks,

hence the changes.

anxious, i called several other SIM admin to double confirm that the results are stable,

and when they gave me their confirmation,

im thrilled!

seriously, the distinction part is a bonus,

im just elated at the fact that i passed.

at the very least, i have not let mama down.

i will never forget the look on mama's face when i broke the news to her..

its was so warming to see that smile and excitement on her face..

i am gonna enjoy myself to the fullest for the rest of 2008.

and i will start to make my 2009 resolutions and work hard to earn more munny~!

feasting and shopping is a must now that im done with my education.

the best thing that has happened to me so far.

an achievement which im proud of.

though its not some first class honors cert,

but what the hell, i paid gold bars, sweat and many late nites fer this cert.

Singapore's first formula 1 nite race.

was very lucky, managed to get a tix from mervyn.

i wasnt very excited about this race coz i wasnt into cars..

but well, no harm taking a look since i have free passes.

and i was curious to find out wat all these F1 craze is all about.

and im glad i went.

many told me that u only get to see the cars pass by once, if u're lucky den twice..

but that was rubbish.

for a full solid hour, i saw the cars passing by practically every min.

i shld say if u paid for the tix, it was quite worth it man..

i wouldnt mind gg again.

it was awesome.

was in the cab the other day with hx, and she was telling me about her problems with her bf,

and the cab uncle just suddenly said "heed my advice, if u guys quarrel all the time, it means u are not meant for each other. end the rs asap".

the cab driver said that he has been married with his wife for more than 30 years, and they have never quarreled. That's bcoz they are made for each other, one gives, one takes.

That's how it works.

And i think what he said does make alot of sense.

i have seen many couples who quarrel every week, every day, but they are still together.

and u can see that they are exhausted. but they are just holding on.

i don think its bcoz of love, but alot of times, due to stubbornness, and most imptly,

the unwillingness to step out of their comfort zone.

many ppl understand this theory, but no one is practicing it.

i hope these wise words from the uncle can save my fren from all the agony she's gg thru now.

My Bday's over, but i still receive surprises.

This time, from my "sister" Xin Yi aka Renee aka Ella.

Its a perfume from Armani and i love the smell.

Well, i shld say nothing will go wrong when its from this fashionista.

I am on my journey of searching for a new perfume and tadah~

i hardly get shocked by any horror movies.

people say Art of the devil is good, but i find it so fake..

but 4Bia is one of the better thai horror shows i have seen so far..

its a combination of humor, horror and the twist in the stories makes it even more interesting to watch.

i have to admit i got shocked by one of the scene which seldom happen to me.

i consider myself quite man..

many frenz around me are not dare for a horror movie,

they say its a waste of munnie, but the thrill and suspense interest me.

im surprised that even after the movie has been screened for quite some time,

its still full house..

i should say 4bia is a good one.

i dunno whether this will help,

but the purpose of setting up a blog in the first place was

to have a platform for me to voice out all my frustrations

and ranting so i wont have to trouble anyone else by calling them in the middle of the nite and pouring out my sorrows to them.

im not saying they are not good frenz,

but i always believe that everyone has their own problems.

and if they have more than enough problems to worry for,

why should i add on to it?

and also im not really a person who goes around calling ppl, pouring out grievances.

hence, a blog like this sounds like a feasible idea for throwing all anger and frustrations.

that being said,

i really just want to get on with my life.

not that im not getting on.

but i dunno why i will get affected by this matter.

im down with managing change,

and im gonna cheong for my next 2 assignments, namely

staffing the org and WIL.

i find myself rather hardworking this sem mebe bcoz its the last sem

and i don wanna risk anything.

good for me.

i just want to complete this whole course and start working and earning my bucks.

student life mebe fun and relaxing but i guess i prefer to be financially stable,

which is to work.

the feeling really sux when u cant provide for your loved ones.

i have always wanted to be someone who is "able".

it sometimes saddens me when i go shopping with my mom and i cant

buy her the things she likes.

just simply because im not financially stable as im still a student.

and i admire my sis for being able to provide so much for the family, for my mom.

im not saying all these to make myself look filial.

but seriously,i think everyone will feel the same way as i do.

like our parents scrimp n save every penny for us,
