was in the cab the other day with hx, and she was telling me about her problems with her bf,
and the cab uncle just suddenly said "heed my advice, if u guys quarrel all the time, it means u are not meant for each other. end the rs asap".
the cab driver said that he has been married with his wife for more than 30 years, and they have never quarreled. That's bcoz they are made for each other, one gives, one takes.
That's how it works.
And i think what he said does make alot of sense.
i have seen many couples who quarrel every week, every day, but they are still together.
and u can see that they are exhausted. but they are just holding on.
i don think its bcoz of love, but alot of times, due to stubbornness, and most imptly,
the unwillingness to step out of their comfort zone.
many ppl understand this theory, but no one is practicing it.
i hope these wise words from the uncle can save my fren from all the agony she's gg thru now.
